The municipal area of Las Mesas covers a surface area of around 8,500 hectares. It is contained entirely within Cuenca s natural area in the La Mancha region, in the heart of the meseta manchega, and is characterized by extensive plains with little in the way of woodland but very favorable for vine cultivation.
